OJ Simpson Death Not Proved Beyond a Reasonable Doubt Argue Defence Attorneys

News about the notorious NFL player’s death has shocked the world, but his defence attorneys were quick to argue that nothing could be proved beyond a reasonable doubt.  Commenting on OJ’s death, Maxwell Stone, a defence attorney, said, “He didn’t do it... This is a free country where you are alive until proven otherwise. So far we’ve only heard from close family and medical doctors who have not satisfactorily given us any reason to think that it was OJ who died and not another man at the same time and place.”

The legal team has been quick to point out that OJ had no motive for dying. “It doesn’t add up. At the end of the day he loved his life.”

The legal team has put forward other divisive arguments. For example, in the early stages they argued that for as long as OJ stays in his hospital bed, we can’t prove he’s not sleeping. “If he’s in the bed, he can’t be dead,” the defence’s slogan rang.

When OJ was buried, they argued that it could’ve been a decoy. “If someone’s in the ground, OJ’s still around,” went the new slogan.

At press time, Maxwell Stone admitted that during the civil trial the court did find that OJ was deceased. However, he remains hopeful for the criminal trial.
